The week started well for me with the announcement that I have been nominated for a total of four awards at the International Achievers Awards (IAA) taking place on July 8th in Central London. My nominations include best TV personality and Entrepreneur of the year!

I like to wear a full suit to award shows and my usual port of call is Saville Row. I do however meet lots of young and talented fashion designers at various parties I attend in London and with my high profile status I realise that  by wearing one of their designs I can give them that extra publicity they need for their amazing creations. It’s a great way to help and promote new young talent in the UK. So for this award show I will be dressed in an all white suit designed by London based Russian Deisgner Olga Kokoeva. Olga designed another suit for me recently when I hosted the Miss Central London  GB beauty pageant in DSTRKT nightclub and the suit was the talk of the show. I can’t wait to show off her new design at the International Achievers Awards!

On Tuesday the rain was never ending but that didn’t stop this party animal venturing out and about. My destination was the very funky Exhibitionist Hotel in London to meet one of the biggest current names in the graffiti art world. We all like to doodle when we have a pen and paper in hand, but  ‘Mr Doodle’ takes doodling to another level.  On first impression, he resembles a cartoon character from one of your favourite cartoon shows you loved to watch as a kid  and indeed he very often doodles himself on walls , tables , glasses, you name it he’s doodled on it! This is a man with a passion for doodling and it’s bought him fame and success in the art world. With an impressive 140k followers on his Instagram page Mr Doodle is now one of the biggest names in the graffiti art world.  He’s also very humble and when I challenged him to doodle me in my Lamborghini on the wall of the Exhibitionist Hotel he was more than happy to oblige!

I purchased my first Lamborghini at the age of 21. Back then to me my greatest pleasure was cruising around in it and showing this beast off. Seventeen years on and the greatest pleasure I now receive from my Lambo is using it to make those less fortunate than myself smile.IMG-20170629-WA0006

Charity is an important part of my life now and I was recently sent a message from a lovely lady called Janine Sanders who had seen me on one of the Channel 4 shows I’ve starred in. She told me about her son Harrison who at 16 had his left leg amputated  due to a rare form of bone cancer that specifically targets teenagers. When the pain first started in his leg, his doctor dismissed it as just growing pains and sent him home with some ibuprofen. If it had been diagnosed properly then Harrison’s leg could have been saved. Janine has now inspiringly devoted her life to not only raising funds for other teenagers with osteosarcoma cancer but also by bringing awareness to the general public. A common sign is pain in the bones and a persistent pins and needles type sensation.

This disease specifically targets teenagers so please be aware of it and visit Harrison’s website.

Harrison is a brave young lad and his dream was to ride in a Supercar. So this week I also made his dream come true by giving him a tour of London in my Lamborghini! With a blue disabled badge in the window I think  my lambo became the fastest disabled car in the world!!

Harrison cheekily only gave me a 9 out of 10 for the cruise. When I asked him why not a 10 he told me the Aston Martin DBS was his favourite ever car! Oh well you can’t win em all!

Off to Greece now to judge an international beauty pageant. It’s not easy being Britain’s Flashiest Playboy!

Till next week!

Danny Lambo
