Calder Prince has become dangerously well-treated and at 10/1 rates the best bet on ths evening’s card at Haydock (7.40).
Tom Dascombe’s charge was last successful over course and distnace 13 months ago when making all to land a class 3 handicap by 1 1/4 lengths off a mark of 94.
He wnet to to finish an excellent 1/2 length second in a class 2 at York off 99 after which he was rated 101.
Calder Prince has failed to trouble the judged in eught subsequent outings but that has resulted in the handicapper cutting him plenty of slack.
He is now able to race in this class 3 affair off a career-low makr of 85 and has a 50% strike rate in the grade having won two of his four starts in it.
It gives him oustnanding claims at the weights and another plus is that he has the services of Richard Kingscote in the saddle who rides the track superbly and is in red-hot for at present.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Calder Prince (10/1 BetVictor – BOG)
