Flamborough Breeze has slipped to a dangerous mark and looks worth a wager at 10/1  in the 8.25 at Kempton this evening now returned to his favourite venue and refitted with the blinkers and the tongue-tie.

Ed Vaughan’s charge was in terrific form in February 2013 when landing a hat-trick of successes over course and distance.

The last of those victories came off a mark of 66 where he only had to be pushed out to easily beat Spirit Of Xaar by 1 1/4 lengths off a mark of 66, and although Flamborough Breeze has not scored since he has run very well off higher marks to make the frame.

They include a solid 1 length second to Conversational at Lingfield earlier in ths season off 74, and Flamborough Breeze now gets into this off just 62.

That is 4lb lower than when last successful and gives him major claims on the pick of his form if bouncing back to anything like his best.

Although he has been well-beaten in his last two starts, he has not sported the tongue-tie he wore when landing his hat-triack at the track and that is now back on.

Connections are also refitting him with the blinkers, and if the combination of the equipment have the desired effect he is is undoubtedly weighted to run a huge race at a track which suits him particularly well.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Flamborough Breeze (10/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
