Kindlelight Storm was a big eye-catcher last time out and is of major interest at 11/2 in the 5.45 at Wolverhampton today.

Nick Littmoden’s gelding rattled up a four-timer at the track over today’s trip of 1m 1f on the old polytrack surface last year, with the last of those successes coming in March where he beat Yourinthewill by a neck off a mark of 68 in a class 5 contest.

The five-year-old now gets into this lower grade class 6 contest off 4lb lower (64), having shaped well when a never nearer fourth of nine to Brave Decision in a claimer at Lingfield five days ago.

He was held-up well off the pace that day and after being forced to make a move out wide kept on under tender handling to be beaten just 1 1/2 lengths.

That run suggested that he was ready to cash-in on his falling mark, and the return to this venue looks sure to suit.

His handler also boasts a decent strike rate of just over 22.5% with his runnesr at the venue in the last 12 months, and with John Egan in the saddle Kindlelight Strom looks to have plenty going for him.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Kindlelight Storm (11/2 BetVictor, William Hill – BOG)
