Intiwin has some decent form at York and makes plenty of appeal at 25/1 in the 4,55 there today.

Richard Fahey’s gelding posted some solid efforts last year as a juvenile, finishing a cracking 1 1/2 length second at the track to the now 110-rated Celestial Path who went on to finish third in the Group 1 Racing Post Trophy and ran a blinder on seasonal reapperance when fifth of 18 to Gleneagles in the 2000 Guineas.

Intiwin then opened his account in game style when beating Bartel by a nose at Newcastle, and the runner-up is a useful sort who has won twice since and finished runner-up in a Listed contest when last seen in action.

The selection also made a winning return to action when scoring on good-to-soft ground at Ripon over 1m when digging deep to beat Tadqeeq  by a nose off a mark of 85, and the third home Sakhee’s Rteurn has come out and won twice since to give the form a boost.

Intiwin also won at Ayr on her penultimate start when awarded the race in the stewards room after going down by a short-head by Little Lady Katie, and ran well last time out over course and distance when keeping on to finish fourth to He’s No Saint off his current makr of 89.

The form of the aforementioned races read well in the context of this contest, and Intiwin’s four runs at the track read 3204 –  with the unplaced being when he got badly hampered.

He also has the services of Sammy Jo Bell in the saddle who is terrific value for her 3lb claim, and his owner’s colours have already been carried to victory at the meeting by Mayfair Lady and seen Dusky Queen finishing a dracking second yesterday.

I don’t think Intiwin is badly treated on the pick of his form, and with conditions holding no fears and course form a plus a big runs looks on the cards.

Daily Sport recommended bet (Posted on twitter 4.15pm 20/08/15): 2pts each-way Intiwin (25/1 Paddy Power – BOG)
