Sir Dylan has become well-treated and looks worth an each-way wager at 25/1 in the 3.50 at Worcester today.
Polly Gundry’s eight-year-old was in terrific form 13 months ago when rattling up a hat-trick with the last of those successes coming at Fontwell off a mark of 112.
He got put up to 116 for the victory and failed to cut any ice in five subsequent starts.
Sir Dylan was then on the sidelines for 248 days and comes into this on the back of two recent spins.
He ran well in the last of those on the level at Wolverhampton when beaten just a length into second and now switches back to hurdling off a reduced rating of 109.
That is 3lb lower than when last successful and gives him a big shoutat the weights on the pick of his form.
He is also 1-1 over today’s trip of 2m 4f, has ideal underfoot condtions and a 30% strike rate under David Noonan (3 wins and a place from 10 rides).
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Sir Dylan (25/1 bet365, BetVictor – BOG)
