Like Minded is strongly fancied at 5/1 to exploit a lenient chase mark and land the 3.40 at Stratford today.

Dan Skelton’s gelding has some very useful form to his name over hurdles last season, landing a class 2 contest at Aintree off a mark of 129 before running an absolute blinder to finish third of 13 to Saphir Su Rheu in the valuable Lanzarote Hurdle at Kempton off 135.

He was put up to 137 for that run, but is able to race in this off a lower chase mark of just 125.

It makes him loom potentially thrown-in at the weights, and he should be spot on to do himself justice following a pipe-opener over the smaller obstacles earlier in the month.

The 10-year-old aslo remains unexposed over fences after just two runs in novuice chases back in 2012, where he finished third on both occassions off an official rating of 135.

If he can translate the improved form he has shown over hurdles since then to fences, then he is going to be very hard to beat for a stable in fine form at present.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Like Minded (5/1 BetVictor, Boylesports, Paddy Power, Stan James, William Hill – BOG)
