Enzaal runs off a career-low mark in the 5.25 at Wolverhampton today and makes plenty of appeal at 7/1.

The gelding won his maiden at the track on the old polytrack surface back in April 2013 whne trained by Mark Johnston, and finished an excellent third on handicap debut at Goodwood in a class 3 contest off and opening mark of 79 next time up.

He also went on to land a class 4 contest at Chester off 76, and now races off a mark of just 54.

That makes the four-year-old dangerously well-weighted in this class 6 contest on the pickof his form, and he hinted last time otu that he could be ready to take advantage when fifth of 10 to Star Anise over course and distance.

Enzaal, who is now in the care of Phil Kirby, kept on well after getting outpaced three from home in a slowly run race to be beaten 3 1/4 lengths in the hands of Joe Fanning.

Fanning is back in the plate again this afternoon, and if Enzaal can build on that effort then he is weighted to take all the beating in this.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Enzaal (7/1 bet365, BetVictor, Coral, Stan James – BOG)
