Billy Dylan looks a bet at 8/1 in the 3.45 at Chester today.
He won twice as a juvenile when trained by Richard Hannon, with ths second of those successes coming over course and distance.
After being held-up in mid division from stall 8 he closed up travelling well approaching the three marker and overcome trouble in running to shoot clear and readily beat Demons Rock by 1 3/4 lengths.
It was an impressive display and the runner-up, to whom he was conceding 11lb, went on to win his next four starts to be rated 102.
That gives the form a solid look and suggests Billy Dylan should be capable of winning races off his current mark of 83.
He ran well off 1lb when second to a progressive sort at Ripon showing plenty of pace until fading late on to be beaten 3 3/4 lengths.
Billy Dylan also posted a solid effort last time out, again off 1lb higher, when showing good speed and keeping on to finish a 1 1/2 length fifth of 15 to Koditime at York.
This looks slightly easier and if building on that he hold evefry chance of getting back on the scoresheet.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Billy Dylan (8/1 bet365 – BOG)
