Kodimoor has become well-trated and looks worth a wager at 8/1 in the 2.30 at Hamilton today.

Chris Kellet’s five-year-old is a course and distance winner (1-3) who caught the eye two starts back at the track when staying to the challenge but getting badly hampered and finishing a 2 length fourth of 14 to Imperial Legend pver course and distance, with his rider being forced to ease close home.

It was a huge step back in the right direction and there is no doubt that he would have gone very close granted a clear passage.

Kodimoor backed that up wity a decent fourth of 12, again over CD, and has since been dropped another 1lb and is now able to race off 52

That is lb lower than when last successful over course and distance in this contest 12 months ago and makes him a huge player from a handicapping perspective.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Kodimoor (8/1 Boylesports, Paddy Power – BOG)
