Gadobout Dancer came back to form when runner-up last time out and looks decent value at 8/1 to go one better in the 2.45 at Hamilton today.

The mare is on a long losing run, having not scored since landing a 1m 2f contest at Beverley back in September 2012 off a mark of 51 when trained by Tony Coyle.

Before that her previous victory had come off 52 over tofday’s course and distance, and she now gets into this off a basement mark of just 45.

That gives her a big chnace at the weights on the pick of her back form, and she signalled that she was ready to take advantage when chasing home Vosne Romanee over 1m 1f here 13 days ago.

The seven-year-old raced keenly at the head of affairs and looked the liekly winner two from home, until stable companion Vosne Romane came out of the pack to lead inside the last and prevail by 1 3/4 lengths.

That was Gadobout Dancer’s fourth run since joing trainer Keith Dalgleish, and she went down fighting and looked to be right back to her best.

She now gets into this 1m contest off the same mark, and if turning up in the same form could take some pegging back at a track she clearly runs well.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Gadobout Dancer (8/1 Betfred, BetVictor, Stan James – BOG)
