London IBF heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua retained the title on Saturday night at the cities o2 when he stopped unbeaten YANK Dominic Breazeale in 7 rounds.

Joshua on top from the off took the initiative and controlled the fight. Breazeale unlike so many heavyweight challengers before him did at least come to fight and did on occaision catch AJ with a few shots.

In the 7th with BIG BOMBS landing from Joshua and Breazeale seeing the canvas twice the ref had seeen enough and waived it off at 1.01 of the round.

Cheif support saw George Groves beat Martin Murray by a shut off points victory on all 3 judges cards 118-110 how ever although Groves clearly won the fight I did have things closer and Groves was at times still a little easy to him.

Chris Eubank Jr stopped a game oppo in Tom Doran in the 4th round having dropped him 4 times whilst the bout lasted. Eubank Jr now on to bigger things with a potential clash with Golovkin in the offing.

Super-lightweight newcomer Conor Benn took just 2.31 of the first to take out Czech oppo Lukas Radic with a great left right combo. Benn Jr looks like a chip off the old block with his crisp punches and all action style.
