Al Neksh has plenty going for him in the 2.20 at York today and looks worth a wager at 17/2.
William Haggas’ charge showed progressive form last season after only making his debut in May and winning three of his five starts.
He showed a nice turn of foot and willing attitude to get the job done and also posted a solid effort on the final start of the camapaign when a 2 3/4 length four to Speed Company at Doncaster.
He now meets the winner on 5lb better terms and taht should be enough to see him reverse the placings in my book.
Al Neksh was also sent off favoruite or second favourite in all his races this season so is clearly well though of and looks the type who will have more to offer as a four year-old.
He also had a good draw in stall 3, the services of Frankie Dettori in the saddle and hails from a yard that do well with its runners at the track.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Al Neksh (17/2 Paddy Power – BOG)
