Baden looks on a handy mark on chasing debut at Sandonw today (3.20) and worth a bet at 7/1.
Nicky Henderson’s six-year-old was an Irish Point winner who ran reall well on hurdles debut when a 4 1/2 length second to North Hill Harvey at Cheltenham.
The winner is now rated 145 over hurdles and 149 over fences.
Badne went on to finish a decent third at Punchestown before opening his account under rules at the fifth time of asking at Wetherby.
He was then highly tried and well beaten in three subsequent outings, including at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals.
Baden is clearly well regraded and I think he looks the type who could come inton his own over fences.
Judged on his run behind North Hill Harvey he could have got in lightly off 125 if that is the case.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Baden (7/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
