Badilou has caught the eye in his two starts over fences and looks worth a bet at 12/1 in the 1.00 at Ludlow today.
The gelding was a hurdles winner in France who started life off in handicaps over the smaller obstacles for Martin Hill on a harsh mark of 110.
He ran a dcent race off 105 when fourth on his second start for Hill and is now able to race off a much reduced rating of 77.
That is a much more feasible and owrable mark and after finishing a not kncoked about sixth on chasing debut at Newton Abbot he put in a much improved effort last time out at Worcester when thid of 12 to Jack The Snipe.
He kept on nicely to be beaten 9 1/4 lengths and it was an effort which suggested there was better to come.
If building on that he looks weighted to run a huge race.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Badilou (12/1 Betfred – BOG)
