Balmusette looks worth siding with at 11/2 to take advantage of what looks a very lenient mark to land 3.50 at Nottingam today.

The Keith Reveley trained mare is a useful bumper/hurdle winner at up to 3m and has been rated as high as 133 over the obstacles.

Balmusette has had just five runs on the level, four between 1m and 1m 4f, finishing runner-up on one occasion.

Her comes into the contest on the back of an eye-catching run over 2m at Catterick when fifth of 13 to Summerlea, being held-up far too far off the opace and racing wide round the home turn before keepibg on nicely under tender handling to be beaten 8 1/2 lengths.

That run suggested he should be more than capable of exploting a lowly flat mark of 55, and the seven-year-old a real handicap blot and potentially thrown-in at the weights based on her hurdles ability.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Balmusette (11/2 William Hill – BOG)
