Blastofmagic runs off a career-low mark in the 3.25 at Lingfield today and looks worth a bet to open his account now eased in grade.
The four-year-old has managed to make the frame just once in nine starts, when beaten just a head in a class 6 contest at Wolverhampton last Macrg off a rating of 54.
However, he ddin’t shape too badly last time out when a keeping on 5 1/4 length seventh of 14 to Agression at Dundalk off 52 when not getting the clearest of passages.
He has since been dropped a further 3lb and is now able to race off just 49, 11lb lower than his initial handicap mark.
It gives him major claims from a handicapping perspective, especially now dropped into lowly class 7 company for the first time.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Blastofmagic (4/1 bet365, BetVictor, Stan James, Paddy Power – BOG)
