Blue Hussar looks worth a bet at 12/1 in the 4.10 at York now eased in grade of what looks a handy mark.
Micky Hammond’s six-year-old wasin terrific form over hurdles earlier in the year, winning twice and finishing runner-up twice to be rated 127.
He switched back to the level over course and distnace in May and ran a blinder to finish third of 13 to Injam in a class 3 contest off 77.
That was a career-low mark and Blue Hussar is able to race in this lower grade class 4 affair off just 2lb higher.
It makes him look well-treated as he was rated as high as 105 earlier in his career when trained by Aidan O’Brien.
Blue Hussar was also only beaten just a length into fourth by Second Step in a Listed contest at the Curragh when in his care.
He also has proven form on soft ground so eveything looks in place for a big run.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Blue Hussar (12/1 BetVictor, William Hill – BOG)
