Boudica Bay ran well when runner-up last time out and looks worth a bet at 3/1 to go on better and open her account in the 3.10 at Haydock today.
The Eric Alston trained three-year-old filly showed plemty of speed from the gates befire keeping on when headed to be beaten 1 1/2 lengths by Sir Derrick in a nine-runner contest at Thirsk.
Prior to that she had run well on handicap debut when a 3 1/4 length third of 12 to Stewardess at Ripon and now meets that rival on 7lb better terms.
Given that she ic clearly going the right way and remains open to further impprovement after just five starts that may well be enough to see her turn the tables.
Boudica Bay is aslo able to race in this off an unchanged mark of 51 and is due to race off 2lb higher in future engagements – so is well-in at the weights.
Off bottom weight of 8st 2lb, and in receipt of lumps of weight from her rivals, she is going to prove hard to peg back if taking another step forward.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Boudica Bay (3/1 bet365, BetVictor – BOG)
