The main support fight on the wonderful Primetime card this weekend sees Tim Bradley (27-0 11kos), the second best Light Welterweight in the world behind Amir “King” Khan,  take on the faded Cuban star Joel Casamayor (38-5 22kos).

This will be Bradley’s seventh defence of the title he won  from the Uk’s Junior Witter way back in 2008, and he has so far won teh previous six without too much trouble.

He is a thinking fighter who when faced with problems is clever enough to make adjustments and find a way to victory. The only real complaint I have is he sometimes doesn’t let his hands go much, which is a slight worry as he is sometimes a little too much defensive minded and needs to come out of is shell more.

However, he won’t have to worry too much about Casamayor who is a staggering 40 years of age and was looking shot back in 2009!

In his prime he was unquestionably a force to be reckoned with and was an outstanding super featherweight champion back in 2003. But he is now fighting way out of his weight class and has never been the biggest of punchers.

He certainly doesn’t have the power to trouble the rock-chinned Bradley at this weight, and a split decision win against Manuel Leyva last time out is a worrying sign for Casamayor fans.

Casamayor has also been on the canvas in four out of his last six fights and he is going there again in this one. He posses a chin thats totally “gone” and Bradley packs enough punch to put him down. He will probably secure victory with a ko, but due to the generosity of Sky Bet the 5/4 for Casamayor just to be knocked down is truly an outstanding price and makes it the best bet of the weekend.

Daily Sport recommended bets:

2.75 pts win Casamayor to be knocked down –  5/4 Sky Bet

0.25 pts win Casamayor to be dropped in the 1st round – 20/1 Sky bet
