Celtic look overpriced at 4/1 with bet365 to win their home Champions League games against Juventus tonight (7.45pm Ko, Live on ITV1).
They are in top form at present and the bookies seem to have underestimated their chances in this first leg of their last-16 clash with the Serie A leaders.
Neil Lennon’s side are brimming with confidence at present after winning 12 of their last 13 matches, and they showed in the groups stages with victories over Barcelona and Spartak Moscow that they are a real force to be reckoned with.
The visitors haven’t been firing on all cylinders since returning from their winter break and have won just four times in nine matches – drawing three and losing the other two.
I therefore can’t see why the Italian side are odds on to win this, especially considering Celtic’s great record at home in Europe and the fact that they have kept only two clean sheets in their last 10 games.
That suggest that 4/1 about Celtic is just too big, and at those odds the SPL side have to be the punt.
