Chelsea value at 9/5 to sink Spurs

Posted on by Tom Warrington

Chelsea look cracking value at 9/5 to beat Spurs in their FA Cup semi-final clash at Wembley this evening (6pm KO, Live on ITV1).

The fact that the game is kicking off at 6pm has upset club officials as the side will have little time to recover before their UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg with Barcelona on Wednesday.

However that will surely mean that they will be out to do the business at the first time of asking, and their recent record in the FA Cup suggests they could be the team to beat this season.

The Blues have lifted the coveted trophy in three of the last five campaigns, and also have a decent record against Harry Redknapp’s men.

They have lost just one of their last 32 games in this competition.

I feel that gives them the edge and Roberto Di Matteo’s side also come into the game in better form.

Didier Drogba has an excellent goalscoring record at Wembley, and makes plenty of appeal at 8/1 with BetVictor, Hills and Ladbrokes to net the opener.
