Firesnake ran well last time out and looks to have plenty going for him in the 3.00 at Chelmsford today now eased in grade.

Lisa Williamson’s charge is not straight forward but does have a good record at the track having won twice and been placed twice in eight starts over course and distance.

The last of thos successes came in a class 6 off 52 and he went on to be placed twice in similar grade affairs here off 55 and 52.

Firesnake also posted a solid effort over CD when a keeping on 2 1/4 length third to Fareeq in a class 6 off 48.

He is now able to race off the same mark and drops into class 6 company for the first time.

It makes him the one to beat and this looks a good opportuniy for the five-year-old to get back on the scoresheet.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Firesnake (7/2 generally available – use BOG firms)
