Class-dropping Henri Parry Morgan handicapped to strike

Posted on by Dave Metcalf

Henri Parry Morgan has become dangerously well-treated and looks worth siding with at 4/1 in the 1.40 at Newbury today now eased in grade.

Peter Bowrn’s nine-year-old was last successful in a class 2 handicap at Uttoxeter back in March 2015 off 135 and went on to finish a cracking second to Native River in a Grade 1 contest at Aintree off an official rating of 149.

He started last season off on 150 but only managed to make the frame once in eight starts – in a class 2 at Exeter.

All his other starts came in class 1 contests and he now returns to action in a class 3 affair off a reduced rating of just 133.

That gives him outstanding claims on the pick of his form for a yard among the winners of late.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Henri Parry Morgan (4/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
