Maymyo makes plenty of appeal at 9/1 in the 8.20 at Kempton this evening now eased in grade.

Sylvester kirk’s charge is a course and distance winner who was last successful in a class 6 contest at Wolverhampton back in August when getting up close home to beat Ben Hall by a nevk off a mark of 65.

He ran well in his next three starts to finish fourth in class 5 contests off 70 and also shaped nicely last time out at Ffos Las when a 1 1/2 length fourth from 4lb out of the handicap.

Maymo is now able to race off the same mark as when last successful and drops back down into class 6 company for the first time since that victory.

The five-year-old boasts a strike rate of just under 43% in the grade having won three times and been placed once from seven starts, and also has the services of promising apprentice Mitch Godwin who takes off another 3lb with his claim.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Maymo (9/1 bet365, BetVictor, Coral, Paddy Power, Sky Bet, Stan James, William Hill – BOG)
