Class-dropping Relentless Dreamer appeals at 14s

Relentless Dreamer is nicely treated on the pick of his form and looks worth an each-way wager at 14/1 in the 2.05 at Ludlow today now eased in grade.

Rebecca Curtis’s eight-yearold was last successful in a novices’ handicap chase at Taunton 13 months ago when staying on strongly to score easily by 11 lengths off a mark of 128.

He went on to finish an excellent 12 1/4 length seventh of 20 to Tully East at the Cheltenham Festival off 138 and was also far from disgraced on the final start of the campaign when eight of 15 to Woodland Opera at the Punchestown Festival.

Relentless Dreamer also shape quite nicely on seasonal reappearance when sixth of 12 to Rock The Kasbah in a class 2 at Chepstow off 134 before being pulled-up last time out in the listed class 1 Badger Ales at Wincanton.

He has since been dropped another 3lb and is now able to race off 129.

That puts him on a handy mark, especially now dropped down into class 3 company in which he has won twice and been placed three times in nine starts.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Relentless Dreamer (14/1 bet365, Paddy Power – BOG)
