Classic Jewel goes well fresh and looks decent value at 13/2 in the 2.20 at Southwell today.
The gelding lost his way when trained In Ireland but has been rejuvenated since joing Evan Williams.
He scored first time up for his new handler at Uttoxeter 12 months ago when scoring by 3 3/4 lenbths off a malr of 82 following a 316 day break.
Classic Jewel has since run three solid races to make the frame off 86 and now returns to action following 227 days on the sidelines off 2lb lower.
A revised rating of 84 makes him nicely treat on the pick of his form in a race lacking any real strength in depth.
The yard is also in decent form at present and he has won and been placed twice in four runs in the grade.
So taking eveything into account he has plenty going for him and looks woth a punt at the odds on offer.
