Classic Seniority has plenty going for him at York

Posted on by Dave Metcalf

Classic Seniority has caught the eye in both his starts this season and makes plenty of appeal at 8/1 in the 3.30 at York today.

Marjorie Fife’s charge won this race last year off a mark of 75 befotre showing progress form to notch another three sucesses.

The last of the came in the Ayr Bonze Cup off a mark of 85 when sporting cheekpieces for the first time and although now 4lb higher he has shaped as well of 90 in two runs last month.

After finishing a decent fifth of 18 to Doncaster, Classic Senioirty shaped far better than the bare result suggets last time out when sixth of 19 at Thirsk – finishing second in his group and having now chance with the far side.

Those runs should have blown away the cobwebs and out him spoit on for a repeat bid and the cheekpieces, in which he is 1-1, now go back on.

Course form is also a big plus at York and apart from his win Classic Seniority also ran well to be placed on his other start at the track.

The stable has also been among the winners of late and everything looksin place for a huge run.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Classic Seniority (8/1 Stan James – BOG)
