Comprise shaped nicely when runner-up on handicap debut and looks worth siding with at 6/1 in the 5.05 at York today now dropped back in tripo.
Michael Bell’s charge shaped with plenty of promise to be placed in two runs as a juvenile, most notably on debut when a keeping on 2 1/2 length third of 12 to Cristal Fizz at Ascot.
The winner has since gone on to land the Listed Radley Stakes at Newbury to be rated 101 and the fourth home Redicean has also gone on to taste success to be rated 85.
Comprise backed that up with a solid second at Haydock and before easily landing maiden at Southwell on return to action in March.
He was allotted and an opening mark of just 74 after that success and ran a blinder of it when a head second over 6f at Yarmouth, showinmg plenty of speed to lead until being headed close home.
Judged on that the drop back to 5f should suit and althjough now 1lb higher in the weights Comprise looks the type that should have plenty more to offer and potentially ahead of the assessor judged on his third at Ascot.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Comprise (6/1 BetVictor, William Hill – BOG)
