Dan Emmett worth a wager at 10s

Posted on by Dave Metcalf

Dan Emett looks on a handy mark at present and worth a wager at 10/1 in the 3.25 at Pontefract today.

Michael Scudamore’s gelding is a useful 125-rated hurdler who is able to race in this off just 64.

That is only 4lb higher than when notching his sole success on the level back in August 2015 when bolting up by 12 lengths at Thirsk.

He went on to finish second in this off 70 under Danny Tudhope who is now reunited with him again for the first time since.

That is eye-catching and Dan Emmett should be up to running a huge race in this off his current rating as he has improved over hurdles and should have more to offer on the level if transferring that ability back to it.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Dan Emmett (10/1 Betfred, Boylesports, Paddy Power, William Hill – BOG)
