Dark Side Dream has slipped nback down to a dangerous mark and makes plenty of appeal at 7/1 in the 3.10 at Lingfield today now fittde with the cheekpeices for the first time and partnered by Silvestre De Sousa.

Chris Dwyer’s gelding has just one win to his name, and that came at Wolverhampton 12 months ago where he ran on strongly to win a class 4 contest by 1 1/2 lengths off a mark of 80.

He was then far from disgraced when a 5 1/2 length fourtg of eight to the useful Waady in a class 2 contest at Sandown off 86, but has failed to cut any ice in seven subsequent outings.

However, that has resuklted in a drop in the weights and Dark Side Dream is now able to race in this weak looking class 4 affair off 77.

That is 3lb lower than when last successful and gives hi  major claims at the weights on the pick of his form, especially if the new headgear has the desired effect.

The booking oif SDS is another positive as he has a strike rate of 23% when teaming up with the yard in the past 12 months.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Dark Side Dream (7/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
