The PDC’s biggest-ever year will see over 150 days of action in 2015, with the new PDC calendar including new venues in Germany and the Netherlands on an expanded European Tour.

The growth of the PDC’s professional circuit will continue next year, with the development of a number of areas throughout the spectrum of PDC events.

The year will kick off from January 14-17 with the 2015 PDC Qualifying School, with the four-day event in Wigan giving any player the chance to attempt to win a PDC Tour Card.

All PDPA members will then be able to enter the six UK Open Qualifiers which will be held across two three-day treble-headers during February, before the UK Open’s Televised Finals are held at the Butlins Minehead Resort from March 6-8.

Two further treble-header weekends will also be held on the PDC ProTour during the series of 20 Players Championship events which will take place during the year, with tournaments to be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Coventry in May and in Barnsley in June.

A further seven Players Championship double-header weekends will also be held, while the ever-expanding PDC European Tour will grow by one tournament to feature nine events during 2015.

The year’s events will begin in Hildeshiem at the end of January for the first of seven events to be held in Germany, in addition to the return to Gibraltar – in March – and a first visit to Venray in the Netherlands in June.

Munich and Lingen in Germany are set to welcome PDC events for the first time during 2015, alongside established European Tour venues in Hildeshiem, Dusseldorf, Leipzig and Sindelfingen.

The Challenge Tour – open to PDPA Associate Members who competed at Qualifying School but did not win a Tour Card – and Youth Tour systems will each have stand-alone weekends during 2015.

Each weekend will feature four tournaments across two days, with both Development Tours having four weekends of action during the year to provide 16 tournaments.

The PDC’s televised action in 2015 will begin with the Premier League Darts, which will kick off in Leeds on February 5 with the first of 16 successive Thursdays of action in the ten-player event.

The action will head to Bournemouth, Liverpool, Belfast, Exeter, Nottingham, Glasgow and Dublin before “Judgement Night” in Manchester sees the bottom two players relegated.

The remaining eight players will then face each other once more across league nights in Sheffield, Aberdeen, Cardiff, Birmingham, Newcastle and Brighton before the top four players compete in the Play-Offs at The O2 in London on May 21.

June’s World Cup of Darts in Frankfurt will be followed by the nine-day World Matchplay from July 18-26 at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, with October’s World Grand Prix and European Championship kicking off a busy autumn of major televised events.

November will see the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton – which will be ranked for the first time next year – followed by The Masters and the Players Championship Finals, which in 2015 will also feature the World Youth Championship final held between the semi-finals and final of the main event.

The early rounds of the World Youth Championship will take place on October 30 in Coventry, featuring 64 qualifiers from around the world, on a day which will also feature the Grand Slam of Darts qualifiers held.

Entry for the 2015 PDC Qualifying School will be available later in 2014, while dates and venues for World Series of Darts events will be confirmed in due course.
