Doc Charm has become dangerously well-treaed and makes plenty of appeal at 9/1 in the 4.45 at Ayr today now dropped back in trip and fitted with the cheekpieces for the first time.

Karl Burke’s gelding scopred at the second time of asking as a juvenile when slammin g Blackfoot Brave over course and distance by six lengths.

He went on to finish an excellent fifth of 12 to Roossey in a competitive classs 2 nursery, again over CD, off a mark of 84 and is now able to race off just 69.

The three-year-old also comes into the conrest having shaped far better than his final finishing position suggests when eight of 12 to Myboydaniel over 7f at Newcastle last time out.

Doc Charm was awkwardly away, but showed tons of early dash to lead and was clear two from home until wekening inside the last.

The drop back to 6f is sure to suit, and if the headgear has the desired effect there is little doubt that Doc Charm is handicapped to strike.

The booking of Sivestre De Sousa is another plus, and everything points to a huge run.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Doc Charm (9/1 BetVictor – BOG)
