En Joule looks worth a wager at 7/1 on handicap debut in the 5.00 at Wetherby today.

Neil Mulholland’s mare has only had five starts adn come good on the second of those when making all and staying on strongly to land a 2m bumper at Stratford.

En Joule then disappointed on hurdling debut but has since run well to finish third at Fontwell and caught the eye last time out when a tenderly handled fifth of 12 to Tahira at Warwick.

The form of the latter has worked out well with the winner going on to finish a fair sixth to Cliffs Of Dover in a competitive affair at Cheltenham, the runner-up Furiously Fast winning next time up before chasing jome the useful Diego Du Charmil, and the third and ninth home having both scored since.

En Joule has been alotted and openining mark of 102 on the back of that effort and that looks exploitable given that the five-year-old looks to have been brought along steadily with handicaps in mind.

She also looks a potential improver now stepped up in trip and hails from a yard that is in terrific form at present.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way En Joule (7/1 BetVictor, William Hill – BOG)
