Fabricate worth a flutter at 10s

Posted on by Dave Metcalf

Fabricate shaped well last time out and looks decent value at 10/1 in the 3.25 at Newcastle today.

Michael Bell’s charge is a consistent sort who has won three and been placed three times from nien starts.

He ran really well last season when a 2 3/4 length third of 11 to Muntaha in a class 1 Listed handicap at Chester off 97 before going on to round off the campaign with a short-head success at Leicester off the same mark.

There was also lots to like about his reecent reapperance run at Wolverhampton following a 153 days break when a 1 1/2 length third to Cohesion in a race not run to suit.

That was his first try on the Tapeta surface and he looks the type who could well have more to offer on it.

Fabricate should now be spot on to do himself justice and although he has to race off a career high mark of 102 he ha sthe services of Louis Steward in the saddle who take off 3lb with his claim.

Taking it into account he is on the saem mark as when last successful and that gives him a big shout at the weights at a track which should suit his run style.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Fabricate (10/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
