Fit For The Job caught the eye last time out and looks worth a wager at 6/1 in the 9.00 at Windsor today.

The gelding had some useful form to his name in Ireland when winning three times with his last success coming in a class 1 handicap at the Curragh off a mark of 88.

He went on to finish sixth of 12 to Third Dimension at Limerick off 93 and was far from disgraced at the Curragh back last September when a 7 1/3 length ninth of 17 in another class 1 affair.

The J P McManus owned five-year-old is now able to race off just 72, a career low, and that makes him potentially thrown-in at the weights on the pick of his from in this class 5 contest.

Although disappointing laston his first start for trainer Jonjo O’Neill at Chepstow,
Fit For The Job shaped far better last time out over course and distance when staying on late under Fran berry after racing keenly in the early stages to finish third in a class 4 affair.

That run suggested he was coming to the boil and with Berry, who has a 33% strike rate on him, once again in the saddle he rates the standout bet on the card.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Fit For The Job (6/1 bet365, Betfred, BetVictor, Coral, Ladbrokes – BOG)
