After just a few days break from football the Premier League is back on our screens again on Saturday, with a host of potentially tight clashes that could have a significant effect come the end of the season.
Our last Premier League accumulator was only let down by Bournemouth, but our Premier League banker of West Brom to win landed to leave us with a total profit of £29.88 after two instalments.
The best bet this week is our anytime goalscorer accumulator at 4.78/1 with bet365.
· Diego Costa (vs Arsenal)
· Romelu Lukaku (vs Bournemouth)
· Harry Kane (vs Middlesbrough)
Chelsea vs Arsenal: Diego Costa missed a late penalty against Liverpool in midweek, but given the Spanish striker’s determined nature we don’t expect that to knock his confidence in front of goal. Chelsea’s star man has scored 15 Premier League goals this season, and given Arsenal’s shambolic defending recently backing Costa to find the net looks a good option.
Everton vs Bournemouth: Everton face off against an out of form Bournemouth side who have conceded three goals in five of their last six away games. Lukaku is undoubtedly The Toffees main man with 12 Premier League goals to his name this season. For comparison’s sake Seamus Coleman is Everton’s second highest scorer with four goals.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Middlesbrough: Dele Alli may have been performing very well recently but Harry Kane is the consistent goalscoring threat for Spurs. He has scored 15 goals in 21 appearances for Spurs this season and has netted seven goals in Spurs’ last six home league matches.
Everton’s 1-1 draw away to Stoke in midweek may not seem the most impressive of results, but considering their away form this season that point will give Ronald Koeman a lot of confidence moving forward with the season.
The Toffees may have struggled on the road, but at home they are looking very difficult to beat. Their only loss of the season at Goodison Park came against Liverpool, and their last league match there saw them hammer Manchester City 4-0. They have won three of their last four home league games despite having to face the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, and Manchester City.
Bournemouth aren’t exactly up to the standards of those teams, especially not based on their recent form. They lost 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace in midweek and have lost five of their last eight games in all competitions. Away from home they have lost five of their last six in all competitions and conceded three goals in all five of those losses.
Overall they have lost seven of their eleven trips away in the Premier League this season, so odds of 4/6 for the in-form Everton to get the three points look very generous.
