Fulham look mint at 14/5 to devour Toffees

Posted on by Tom Warrington

Fulham look terrific value at 14/5 to beat Everton in their FA Cup fourth round tie at Goodison tonight (8pm KO).

The Cottagers have played David Moyes’ men four times in the competition and knocked them out on each occasion.

Although three of those came after a replay, the visitors come ino this on the back of a 5-2 win over Newcastle and have also taken Arsenal’s scalp in recent weeks.

They are now playing much better and looking threatening in front of goal, and another positive stat is that they have progressed on the last 10 occasions that they have played in this round.

The home side are also without a win in their last five FA Cup games against fellow Premier League sides (D3 L2), and they  have been knocked out of the competition on their own patch in four of the last five seasons.

Throw in the fact that the Toffees are finding it difficult to convert in front of goal, and it’s not hard to see why Fulham look overpriced at the 14/5 on offer with Betfred, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power.

To me they have to be the punt in this as there is no way in my book that Everton are entitled to be as short as even money given their current form.
