Splash Of Ginge revrts to hurdles on a dangerous mark in the 12.55 at Haydock today and looks worth siding with at 12/1.

Nigel Twiston-Davies’ eight-year-old has not scored since landing a valuable class 1 handciap chase at Cheltenham in January 2015 off a mark of 145.

However, having been put up to a mark of 153 for that success he is now able to race off a much reduced rating of just 131.

That is his lowest handicap mark in his career and 2lb lower than when he landed the valuable and ultra-compettive 20-runner Betfair Hurdle in 2014.

It gives Splash Of Ginge major claims at the weights on the pick of his form and he also now drops down into class 3 company for the first time in ovr two years and just the second in his career.

Jamie Bargary also takes off another 3lb with his claims and with the stable remaining in good form is simply too well-treated to ignore.

Daily Sport recommended bet, posted on twitter 4.15pm 16/12/16: 2pts each-way Splash Of Ginge (12/1 Paddy Power – BOG)
