GROVESPUBLICTRAINING2Super-middleweight world title contender George Groves believes he has got IBF and WBA champion Carl Froch’s number ahead of their eagerly anticipated clash in Manchester this Saturday night [Nov 23].

Groves takes part in his first world title contest whilst for seasoned pro Froch it will be his 11th world championship contest but the confident Londoner is unflustered by proceedings telling DAILY SPORT Boxing”This is the fight I have always wanted, I respect Carl Froch for achieving what he has in the sport, and I know he’s a tough fighter, but I also believe he is beatable and that I have the style to cause him nightmares”

Groves who recently split with long time manager/trainer Adam Booth and is now trained by Paddy Fitzpatrick added “I believe that all talented fighters need a trainer, need a good manager to keep them on the straight and narrow, that’s why I don’t have, that’s why I am not preparing for this fight on my own. I have still gone out and got the best team to work with so they can get the best out of you”
