London Super-Middleweight George Groves stopped tough Mexican Francisco Sierra in the 6th round of their fight in San Jose, California overnight despite a bad cut from an earlier clash of heads Groves came through it in winning style dropping Sierra twice in the 6th before his corner threw in the towel.

This was a great performance by the Londoner who hasn’t fought since last November, however this cut will now cast doubt over his next fight scheduled for 14th November at Wembley Arena.

Daily Sport says – A couple more good wins like this and Groves should be ready for a world title.
