Hanseatic looks to have plenty going for him and worth a punt at at 12/1 in the 4.20 at Nottingham today.
Mick Easterby’s charge was last successful at Doncaster 16 months ago when landing a class 4 contest off 72.
He has since posted some solid efforts to make the frame, including when runner-up twice off 75 and third of 77.
Hanseatic is now able to race off 73 and that makes him nicely treated on the pick of his form.
He also comes into the contest having shaped niecly in his last two starts, keeping on to be 2 length fifth of 12 to Art Echo in a class 4 contest over 7f at Doncaster and when a 4 length fourth of 11 over 1m 1f at Carlisle off 1lb higher (74).
This afternoon’s 1m trip looks ideal as he has won twice and been placed four times from 11 starts over it.
Hanseatric has also won and been placed once from four starts in the grade (class 5\) and with Ryan Timby in the saddle taking off a handy 7lb with his claim eveything looks in place for a big run.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Hanseatic (12/1 bet365, Paddy Power – BOG)
