Huck says speed will defeat Povetkin

Marco Huck declared his speed will beat Alexander Povetkin when the 2 meetin Stutgart on 25th February to challengfe for Povetkin’s WBA World Heavyweight crown.

This will be Povetkin’s second defence of the title having stopped tough US veteran Cedric Boswell last month. Huck the current WBO Cruiserweight champ on the other hand will have his first fight as a Heavyweight.

Promoter Kalle Sauerland is convinced that the clash at the Porsche-Arena will be
one to remember. “A lot of people have asked us why we match two of our
best fighters against each other,” he stated. “The answer is simple: We
want to make the most exciting fights out there. We owe that to the
fans. Povetkin v Huck will be the most dramatic and thrilling heavyweight
title clash in many, many years.”

The fight will be televised live on BoxNation here in the UK Sky ch 456 and Virgin ch 546.
