Jwala is improving at a rate of knots and looks terrific value at 10/1 to land the hat-trick in the 5.25 at Goodwood.
Robert Cowell’s filly ended her juvenile campaign in fine style when making all to slam Pale Orchid by 2 3/4 lengths over 5f at Wolverhampton off a mark of 76.
She then looked even better on her reappearance at Bath in June, where despite looking in need of the run she showed blistering early pace to shoot clear to beat Place In My Heart by 1/2 a length despite tiring in the closing stages.
The daughter of oasis Dream now meets the runner-up on 6lb better terms, and given that she is also likely to strip fitter for the outing should have little difficulty confirming the placings.
She has been hit with a 7lb rise for that effort and now races off a career high of 88, but she looks as if there is bags more to come and I think that she is definitely a sprinter to keep on the right side.
Today’s track is also absolutely ideal for her to adopt her catch-me-if-you-can tactics, and given the speed she showed at Bath I can see her running her rivals into the ground if getting her own way up front.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts each-way Jwala (10/1 Coral ,sportingbet)
