Kildisart looks to gave got in lightly on handicap debut in the 3.40 at Kempton today and rates a solid bet to land the spoils.
The gelding shaped well on his sole start in an Irish point when runner-up to Claimantakinforgan who went on to post some smart efforst in bumpers and has looked a top-notch prospect in winning both his starts over hurdles this season.
Kildisart then joined Nicky Henderson, finishing second in a bumper for his new handler before shaping with plenty of promise when a 2 1/4 length runner-up Count Meribel on hurdles’ debut at Carlisle.
The winner has won again since and finsihed a fine second in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham off an official rating of 138.
That makes an opening handicap mark of just 128 for Kildisart look very exploitable and he comes ito the race having scored in good style at Ascot.
With plenty more improvement to come he looks weighted to take all the beating in this.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Kildisart (7/2 generally available – use BOG firms)
