Kreb’s Cycle fancied to follow-up

Kreb’s Cycle scored in good style last time out and looks worth a wager to defy a rise in the weights nd follow-up in the 8.10 at Wolverhampton today.

Ian Williams’ charge produced a career-best when running on strongly to beat Bristol Missile by a length at Lingfield.

He was well on top at the finish and I thought he scored with more in hand than the winning margin suggests.

A 4lb rise looks more than fair and his revised rating of 79 still looks exploitable given that he has been rated as high as 85 in the past.

He also appeals as the type that should have more to offer for his handler and in a race where lots of his opponents have question to answer looks to have plenty going for him.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Kreb’s Cycle (5/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
