Madrid the Real deal

Posted on by Tom Warrington

Real Madrid have been chalked up at 8/15 to beat Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tonight (7.45pm KO, Live on ITV1) and they look worthy odds-on shots to do just that.

Everything looked good for Real heading into the final minute in Munich last Tuesday but Mario Gomez’s late winner means Bayern take a 2-1 lead to the Bernabeu for the second leg.

However, thanks to Mesut Ozil’s away goal, it is Real who remain favourites to progress to next month’s final.

They’ve scored goals left, right and centre on home turf this season, and readily took care of Barcelona at the weekend –  scoring twice in the Nou Camp.

They really should have no problem recovering the one-goal deficit, especially with players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Gomez up front.

Ronaldo has been scoring at well over a goal a game in the Spanish league but has netted in eight from nine games in this competition.

That makes the top price of 4/5 with Coral about him scoring anytime look well worth a punt.

Real to win 3-0 is my idea of the outcome, and that is a 12/1 shot with BetVictor.
