Mcdelta is back down to a handy mark and looks worth a punt at 10/1 in the 6.25 at Kempton today.
The seven-year-old scored twice back in 2013, with the last of thsoe succeses coming at Epsom off a mark of 67.
He went on to finish runner-up off 74 and after several spells on the sidelines ended a losing run when landing a 1m contest at Carlisle 12 months ago off 57.
McDelta is now able to race off just 1lb higher (58) and although below par last time out at Newbury he had previously caught the eye in two starts at this venue when third and fifth and doing his best work at the finish.
Those runs suggest he retains enough ability to win a race of this nature and with the stable among the winners of late McDelta looks weighted to run a big race on the pick of his form.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way McDelta (10/1 William Hill – BOG)
