Mirrored looks nicely treated in the 4.25 at Pontefract and makes plenty of each-way appeal at 10/1.
The gelding showed that he can go well fresh when winning on his seasonal reappearance at Doncaster last year where he only had to be driven out to score by a cosy 2 1/4 lengths off a mark of 85.
Although he didn’t go on to register any more successes he did run well on a number of occasions in some decent handicaps.
The six-year-old particularly caught the eye on his fnal start when staying on from off the pace to finish a never nearer 5th of 14 to Demolition in a warm affair at Nottingham and he starts this campaign off a 1lb lower mark.
Tim Easterby’s charge is now just 2lb higher than when scoring at Donny, and that gives him every chance from a handicapping perspective of registering a fourth career success.
With conditions ideal it’s not hard to envisage him running a huge race, and in a market dominated by Splendid Light he looks cracking each-way value.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Mirrored (10/1 Betfred, Boylesports – BOG)
