Monaco Rose has become well-treated and makes plenty of appeal at 5/1 in the 3.00 at Catterick today.
Richard Fahey’s mare scored over course and distance last April off a mark of 65 before following up at Doncaster off 69.
She went on to run well and finish in the frame on three occasions, twice off a mark of 75 in class 4 contests.
The five-year-old is now able to race off 65 again and that gives her major claims from a handicapping perspective in this class 5 affair.
She has also won two of her nien starts in the grade and shaped as if returning to form last time out when weakneing late on to finish a 2 1/4 length fifth to Bendalid in a class 4 at Chester,
If building on that she has major claims of notching a third career success in this lower grade affair for a yard that does well with its runners at the venue.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Monaco Rose (5/1 bet365, BetVictor, Boylesports, Coral – BOG)
